Having never used another detector I went to Bendigo and within a week found a two ounce nugget in a heavily detected area. The 7000 really does punch deep. I found 4 ounces in my first two months in total. The only setting I changed was volume if it was windy. All with the standard 14 inch coil. Pro tip. Find a area in between a old mine and some shallow workings.
